| Woke up, prayed. Ate breakfast, prayed. Read my bible, prayed. Walked outside, prayed. Went to church, prayed, delved into the Word again, prayed. Or went to class, prayed. Hung out with friends, prayed for them. Went to a basketball game, prayed. Played on the oval, worked out, danced, studied, ran, slept...prayed. Fell asleep praying, being held in God's embrace...
If only we remembered to make every day something like that...
But we can strive, can we not?
"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Luke 11:9-10

| God gives us amazing opportunities to do His work everyday. But as humans, we fail to seize the opportunities. For every awesome thing we let God do through us, there are about 10 others we pass up. My challenge to you is this.
What if we all stopped wussing out, and started stepping out in faith?
Think about it.

| So I thought about writing all the random, funny, weird, outlandish thoughts I have over the course of a day. For instance, I'm working out, and see a commercial for Sargento cheese. Their motto: "Our family's passion is cheese." That would explain why my parents both have blue eyes and mine are brown: I'm a Sargento! Or why a nickname of mine when I was a child was "the dairy queen." I'll never live that one down.
I was told my clothing style is "breezy." I dig that. It's a personality trait, if you ask me.
You know how after high school is over, everyone tells everybody else "oh we'll keep in touch!" And no one does, and no one minds? I actually think it's kind of cool, as weird as that sounds. It shows that we can successfully move on to different stages in our lives, and adapt... however, there are some things you never want to let go. Those are the things that keep me anchored, keep my brain on earth and not up in the clouds...(it's there right now...that's why this doesn't make sense)
I love Jesus.
Psalm 71:14-18

oh how times have changed.
Can I delete old entries? i'm not trying to erase the past, but that chapter is closed.
I love life. God is absolutely incredible. How could I have ever doubted that He wanted me to expect amazing things for my life? He teaches me daily...
College. They're right. It's the best time of your life. | | |
